Due to the rising costs of Tariffs and our Leather coming from Canada, we have experienced a significant increase in what we have to pay. I refuse to pass those costs on to my customers. For that reason and for a short time our quantities of what we can make for orders is limited until I can a find a new supplier. I will do my best to keep an eye of how much leather I am going through in order to make it easier for our customers and adjust my inventory accordingly. If it comes that I do not have enough material for the items that you are buying I will contact you to make other arrangements in order to fulfil your order. That could come from a different color of leather of the same quality to a different kind of leather in general. I am sorry for this inconvenience at this time and hoping that it is a short-term problem with a permanent solution.
This Leather is an Italian Tanned Leather. it is in limited supply, and all current items are available in it as a Featured Item. All Items will reflect their prices when you make your selection.
Refund Policy:
All sales are final with a minor exception:
ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON CUSTOM ORDERS
There will be no Exchanges or Returns on Orders since all Items are handmade, with the exception of damage during shipping
There will be No Refunds because of Patina. All natural materials will Patina over time. This is a natural darkening of the Leather, so as the item is used more it will naturally get a darker look, and this can’t be stopped.
Damaged items over time due to wear and tear will not constitute for a refund, return, or an exchange.
No Refunds or Exchanges for items that are purchased on Sale
Damaged items during shipping. If any items are damaged during shipping, then please send photos of the damaged items and a refund or replacement will be generated once the item has been shipped back and received. This is the only time an item may be returned for a refund or replacement.
Process:
The Process for everything that is made through S.O.L. is a simple 1. Everything is handmade, from the leather being hand cut, the sewing done with an industry standard Saddle Stitch. Every Item made will come with beveled, sanded, dyed edges and ending with burnishing using Tokonole to add glossy finish. All corners are rounded off to help prevent with snagging and pulling which can cause wear and tear on the item.
Materials:
We use the highest quality Leather from tanneries around the world. Badalassi Italian Leather, Jack Harness Leather from OA Leather Company, Crazy Horse Chrome Tan Leather. We use Ritza Tiger Thread for all hand made goods and 3-4 oz leather to keep a slimmer look and feel all the while keeping up a good quality that will outlast any high production store bought leather good. As a side note: All Leather will Patina and darken up over time. That is a natural process with any natural material and can’t be stopped.
Sacred Owl Leather:
Sacred Owl Leather started out as a way to do something different with the inspirational goals of 1 person. With a love of Leather craft and wanting to do something different in my life I set out to do something new and exciting that gives me the freedom to be authentic and creative. I spent the better part of a year becoming self-taught, and through trial and error I started making wallets that I could be proud of. I have expanded beyond wallet designs to basic Money Clips, Beard Kits, Nipper Scissor Keepers and I am constantly developing and testing new ideas all the time, so the number of items will steadily grow My products have been sold throughout the middle and southern parts of Oregon at different Craft Fairs and Farmers Markets thanks to the help of my family. The feedback from those shows has given me the boost to take it further to start selling online.
Disclaimer:
Since everything is handmade and all done by 1 person, the turnaround times for orders might not be immediate, but I promise to work my best to get all sales out and at reasonable time frame. If anyone has any questions, then please feel free to ask me about orders and shipping times. I will be putting premade products up more than I will be taking special orders, that way I can ensure a more consistent output from the time of ordering to shipping.
Shipping:
All orders will be shipped out on Tuesdays and Fridays through U.S.P.S. to keep shipping costs lower and at this time we will only be shipping domestically with in the U.S. All orders will cost $7.50 shipping plus $2.50 per additional item.
